About Me

Maxwell Beck Seelig is a performer who was born and raised in Boston, MA and its vibrant theatre scene. Maxwell discovered his love of theatre when he was cast in the titular role of the Little Red Hen in his preschool class play. Although the Little Red Hen is traditionally a female, Ms. Cindy was very ahead of the curve in terms of nontraditional casting.

During his childhood and adolescence, he trained in acting, singing, and dancing while having incredible theatrical experiences performing in various regional productions. While juggling schoolwork and familial obligations, Maxwell never gave up on his artistic training or wavered in his devotion to his craft.

Today, Maxwell Beck Seelig is a young actor based in New York. When not onstage, Maxwell can be found cooking, playing with his dog, Cooper, or having fun with friends.

Some of his favorite theatrical credits include Pippin in Pippin, Laurie in Little Women, Damian in Mean Girls, Ben in Rags, Jack in Into the Woods, Ben/Lisa in Disaster!, James in James and the Giant Peach, and Tall Boy/Posh Boy (u/s Michael) in Billy Elliot.
